Situated in the small village of Hectorspruit, which is on the N4, between Malelane and Komatipoort, making this a perfect base for visiting the Kruger National Park.
Featuring free Parking, WiFi and two outdoor pools, one exclusive for Gecko Cottage guests, the second pool, along with a large Thatched Lapa, is used by other guests and owners of the property.
We have four different types of accommodation options as set out below
The Cottage @ Gecko is a 2 Bedroom (1 X Double, 1 X Twin) 2 Bathroom (Main Bed En-Suite). This free standing cottage is within its own walled gardens and has an exclusive swimming pool with deck area. Accommodating up to 4 persons with its own parking area. Gecko Cottage is furnished with everything one would need in a home including Oven and Hob, Microwave, Fridge Freezer, Vacuum cleaner, Dishwasher, Iron, Ironing board, TV Netflix. Small inverters to keep the Wifi and TV running during power outages.
The Annex@Gecko With Solar Power – accommodates up to 2 persons, this is a furnished Air conditioned Queen Room with Queen size Bed with En-Suite Shower room. This room can be booked as Self Catering, Bed and Breakfast or DB&B. There is a small outside seating area with small braai. Furnished with a Kettle, Toaster, microwave and Fridge/Freezer.
Hyena@Gecko With Solar Power – is a Twin Bed Studio room with En-suite Shower accommodating up to 2 persons on a Self Catering, Bed and Breakfast or DB&B. Air Conditioned room furnished with Microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge, along with a large flat screen TV with Netflix and associated Internet channels. This unit has a large private screened patio with kitchenette including Braai, Gas Hob and sink/kitchenette wash area. There is a large Granite table and chairs. Comfortable enough for a stay longer than one or two nights.
Wild Dog@Gecko With Solar Power – is a Double bedroom with a Private Kitchen, Patio and small garden. The Bedroom with En-Suite Shower room, includes a 2 Person Couch, Air Conditioning and sleeps up to 2 persons. The covered Patio has a drop down awning along with a Webber Braai. This room has large parking area that can accommodate a small trailer or caravan.
